Your Egyptair flight departs Nairobi at the JKIA airport at 04:20hrs and arrives at Cairo International airport at 08:00hrs. On arrival, you will be met by a Serkin Africa representative who will transfer you to Marriott Mena House, Cairo where you are booked on bed and breakfast.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
You will have breakfast at the hotel. Later a Serkin Africa representative will take for the full day city tour.
Start your morning with a visit to Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo or Masr alQadima, largely predates the city of Cairo as we know it. Some Egyptologists think that a settlement here existed as far back as the 6th century BC. Later, the Romans built on the site a fortress named Babylon. Today, this ancient threshold of history is still in place, its weathered ramparts and sturdy bastions bearing witness to the ebb and flow of civilizations that have graced the fertile banks of the Nile. It’s also home to numerous mosques as well as the oldest synagogue in Egypt.
After your tour you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for overnightstay.
You’ll have breakfast at the hotel, later on a tour plan representative will transfer you for your full day tour.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum (Museum of Egyptian Antiquities) has been a mecca for Egyptologists since it opened. It has some of the world’s greatest ancient relics.
Giza pyramid complex
The Giza pyramid complex (also called the Giza necropolis)in Egypt is home to the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, between 2600 and 2500 BC. The site also includes several temples and cemeteries and the remains of a workers’ village.
Later you will be transferred to the hotel.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel, later spend the rest of the morning at leisure in the hotel.
In the afternoon, you can take a cab to First Mall Giza is the first luxury commercial complex that serves and accommodates impeccable taste and the passion for high-end retail experience. The First Mall is located in the city of Giza, overlooking the breezy Nile river.
Later on, take a cab back to the hotel.
You will have breakfast at the hotel. Later, you will check out and spend the rest of the day at leisure and shopping. In the evening our representative will transfer you to the Cairo International airport for your Egyptair flight which will depart at 21:45hrs and arrives Nairobi JKIA airport at 03:30hrs.
